Danke Jungs, ich habs auch schon gemerkt… Die Wurst war trotzdem fein! If anyone would like the left over panini pictures, just let me know. If noone wants them, I’ll throw them away. Last Friday some friends and I visited the Zurich FanZone. It was the game Croatia vs. Turkey which ended in Turkeys favor. But first things first… We arrived in the game break, which was about the worst time to arrive. There were endless queues in front of the Food- and Beer stalls. After some queuing we finally got our “beer” (I put the word beer in “’s on purpose, as it was Carlsberg). Now we made our way to my Girlfriends stall. She works in the FanZone since the beginning and I only saw her sleeping. But anyhow, I’m so proud! Just across her stall there was a TV screen and we followed the penalty kicking after extension. The spectators were quite peaceful. No serious trouble inside the FanZone. Both Fan blocks were quite heated up, but they remained peaceful. I had about 3/4 of my mug still filled with beer. After the turks won, the S.W.A.T. Team of the Police cleared out the complete Fan-Zone. We got thrown out roughly including our beer. I couldn’t even agree on a meeting-spot with my girlfriend. It’s not really nice feeling a beating stick in your back. We moved out of the FanZone before we would get “escorted” out and waited in the McDonalds nearby. I’ve sent my Girlfriend an SMS where we would wait. All in all, the visit to the FanZone was enjoyable, except for the exiting-part. I got the feeling that the police was scared. OK, it was a high-risk meeting, but still. I think they over-reacted a bit. Just my two cents To keep track of the Pictures which are availble, i’ve created a separate page which lists all the pictures I currently offer. If you are interested, just leave a comment or send me a Mail. Last Friday my Girlfriend offered me a Vodka Red-Bull. Just for celebrating the end of the (Work-)Week. I found that a good idea. Two Vodka Red-Bull later, i just started to feel it, my Girlfriend started to clear out the cupboard and cleaning it up. Later that evening, I was already going to bed, my girlfriend was still working on the contents of the cupboard. Note to self: Never give my Girlfriend Red Bull The next morning we decided that my office needed a remake. After all, there is a Stone-Old PC-Table and a Typewriter-desk which don’t offer that much storage space. Equally stuff piled up on top of them. That needs to change. Next Stop: The Blue-Yellow Furniture house. About two hours and a Panzerotto later, I was proud owner of two EFFEKTIV-Shelves. The rest of the saturday we’ve spent cleaning out my office. It’s astonishing what piles up over two years of never clearing out. I’ve thrown away about 3 boxes of old stuff. Who would need to save a 400Mhz PII Computer? Lets get rid of it, together with a mechanical Paralell-port switch and a stone-old KVM-Switch. Assembling the shelves took me about 3 hours. Cramming all my stuff in there took me a lot longer. This gave us the final kick to give our flat a general makeover. Kitchen, Living room, bedroom. So here’s the plan: We need a table in the Kitchen to get more space. The living-room is quite crammed since we got our new TV. The HiFi-Receiver is in the way since then. I’ll try to summarize what happens in our flat to make it even cozier… As mentionned earlier, I’m offering the Panini-Pictures I get from freebies. And Switzerland is one of the host countries. In addition to that, the swiss are Panini champions. Statistically, every citizen has 40 Panini-pics. This is world class and way before the second place, Germany, with 3 pics per citizen. When I was a Kid, I was also infected with the Panini-Virus. And it cost me most of my pocket money. Nowadays, the sales channels are a lot more sophisticated than they were during my school-years. Today, you get 2 pictures with every 0.5l bottle Coke you buy. As I don’t even want to start collecting the pictures, i’ll just offer them here. Until now, I have the Following pictures available:
