I just stumbled over an article in the swiss Netzwoche saying that XING will use GoogleMaps to display the geographical location of your Contacts. Of course, only if your contact has granted you the right to see his business-address. Private adresses are not shown.

Unfortunately it looks like the function hasn’t been activated for all users until now. Or maybe I just didn’t see the link.
Anyhow, I think it might give a interesting picture seeing your contacts on a world map. I’m eager to see it!
